On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 

pm solar panel yojana registration, which is also known as

Prime Minister Surya Gandhi Ji Yojana, and was first

announced in the Interim Budget of 2024-25 by Hon’ble

Finance Minister. The overall investment in this scheme

is estimated to be over Rs 75000 crores, and it is expected

to benefit over one crore households every month. This

scheme will provide free Electricity Distribution Company 

to its beneficiaries for 300 units per month. In addition,

on purchasing solar panels, consumers will get a final

subsidy based on the per kilowatt installation. Beneficiaries

of this scheme can get loan amounts from State Bank of India

(SBI), Union Bank of India (UBI), Canara Bank, etc. In this post,

PM Solar Rooftop Scheme Features

Under this scheme, 10 square meters of rooftop space is required to install 1 kilowatt of solar gadget. Eligibility Criteria for PM Solar Rooftop Scheme

Subsidies, Bank Loans and Interest on PM Surya Ghar Yojana
A maximum subsidy of Rs 78,000 can be awarded to a beneficiary under this solar rooftop subsidy Yojana (program).A subsidy of Rs 30,000 per kilowatt is offered to houses with solar panel capacity of up to 2KW and monthly Electricity Distribution Company consumption of less than 300 units.
An extra Rs 18000 per KW of subsidy is offered under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana scheme for capacities up to 3 KW.

The "Roof Top Solar System Finance Scheme for residential purposes" is a loan program that the State Bank of India offers to consumers who purchase solar panels. Under this SBI plan, loans up to Rs 10 lakh are available with a maximum five-year repayment period. 
Union Bank of India is providing grid-connected RTS systems up to 25 KW Plant for independent homeowners under their "Union RoofTop Solar Scheme." UBI is offering a maximum of 84 EMI repayments with interest rates starting from External Benchmarks Lending Rate and a loan amount of up to 80% of the cost, or up to 15 lakhs.
Canara Bank is also providing a Housing_cum Solar Loan with a maximum repayment period of 20 years and a maximum loan amount of Rs 10 lakhs. Only the on-grid construction of a rooftop solar PV system in conjunction with a house loan is eligible for this Canara Bank loan scheme. The range of interest rates is 11.5% to 12.5% annually.

Utilize the QR code you will receive to register for the rooftop solar scheme after downloading the SANDES APP from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).

To finish the registration process, validate your email address after inputting the OTP you obtained through mobile number authentication.

Next, use the cellphone number you registered with to enter the registered customer account number to log in. Within 30 days of the installation, applicants claim their subsidies.
